In the Aftermath

As I continue with my love of Rolling Stones music, I got go mention the album "Aftermath."

While both are good, I absolutely love the U.K. version. It's quite the mix of blues with the musical creativity of Brian Jones.

He played all kinds of instruments, from the dulcimer to the sitar to the xylophone.

However, it was one of his final creative bursts, as drugs became more prevalent in his life.

There's something about that album, especially side 2. "I Am Waiting," "Think," "Take It or Leave It" and "What to Do": I just adore those songs for the songwriting and musical ability the Stones provided.

When I need a boost, it's "Aftermath" time.
