Greyhounds to watch, April 24

The next to last preseason schooling races offered a few greyhounds to watch for live racing at Dubuque Greyhound Park:

• DS Claimer: Good break.
• CTW Tatiana: Good break, just took off from there.
• WW Dorothy: Looks like she wants inside, got there and held on.
• Major Decision: Led the charge.
• Superior Weapon: Wanted inside, got there.
• ALE Tanya Tucker: Took advantage of the middle. Best dog in that race.

DS Claimer and Major decision had the evening's fastest time of 31.81.
Preseason schoolers close Thursday. There are nine races on the card.
Live racing starts at 1 p.m. Saturday.
