My youngest son's soccer team heads to Ames tomorrow for the Iowa State Indoor Soccer Cup.
They are two-time defending champions.
And, although I help coach the team, I've never gone to this tournamnt - and they've never lost!
So, being the supersitious type for sports, I'm wondering if I'll be a jinx and cost them the three-peat (sorry, Mr. Riley, for using the term).
My hopes is that I'm wrong. The boys are talented, work hard and enjoy the game.
But why do I think this? I don't know, but sports and superstitions sure seem to link up.
Let's hope I'm wrong!
