Disarray

The basement project is under way. It's torn apart and ready for new walls, ceiling, flooring and whatever else.
It's been too long of a wait - nearly 20 years!
Paneling from the 1970s (maybe the '80s). Old ceiling tiles. Inadequate floor (OK, carpet remnants from several in-laws' houses!) Now in a few short weeks, it will look brand new.
At least I hope in a few short weeks. We'll be doing the painting, of course.
Home projects rarely go off as scheduled. I'm hoping for the best. The guy we hired is talented and thorough. I just hope there's not too many surprises lurking in our basement.
