One band that I've grown to like recently is The Doors.
I didn't enjoy them when I was younger. I guess it was the fact that I thought they didn't have rousing guitars - one of my favorite things.
But I've learned to love the band. Great lyrics, great sound, great presentation.
While I can't always say I agreed with how Jim Morrison lived his live, I can't deny that he was a brilliant poet, and that sure showed up on the music.
They had a great, short ride - too bad it couldn't go on awhile longer.
